Having some unpleasant surprises on the background of generally harsh life of recent years, I can't spare enough leisure time to make sufficient number of sufficiently quality drawings, not to mention that I can't finish several already started works. So, to keep you informed that I still exist somewhere around, I post these two recent sketches (that actually can go as finished drawings - I believe I should do more of those). Both are pretty quick, both drawn in MyPaint (I really recommend this free program to those who already have a tablet and want to draw or paint but not to edit or manipulate images).
Elves know some magic. However, just like humans, they make mistakes that get them into big troubles, when their magic can't help or even makes things worse.
This girl chose a wrong pond for skinny dipping - it was too close to a human village, and some women came there to do laundry. Then the scared elf chose a wrong place to get out of the pond. Then she failed to extricate herself from the mud. After half an hour of struggle she gave up and started screaming.
She screams, she pleads, she sobs. However, the local human women are not eager to give her any help. They are just laughing. They say, it is a punishment for seducing their cock-driven men. But whose fault is that human women always hide their bodies from their men, they even go to bed wearing special clothes, while elves proudly demonstrate their beauty?
- A good workout, you said? Even having a good grip on this root I can't pull myself out! And this stupid mud has stolen my shorts! Imagine the reaction of those who will come to help us out!
- I'm sorry, it was my fault! I should foresee that we may need helpers... But you can't deny it, it was a great workout outdoors!
- It would be a great workout outdoors if it did not result in the struggle for life. Thanks god, we managed to grab this root. I still wonder how long we'll have to hang suspended in this mud till someone will spot us... I just wish they would be friendly guys...

There’s so many different worlds
So many different suns
And we have just one world
But we live in different ones
So many different suns
And we have just one world
But we live in different ones

Both of these are great, Billie!
Sorry to hear of your troubles, but I'll sink a few elves for you to boost your spirits. You know where they'll be...

It wouldn't be hard to rescue her, and to comfort her, and to be rewarded, but there are angry envious human women around

Very nice sketches Billie! I like the simplicity of the black and white, yet they are still nicely detailed. Great job, thanks!
How long did Tarzan watch before deciding to save Jill..?
