You really said something there. Not every nude model has that ability. Sometimes it's difficult to tell until you're behind the scenes. Some ladies run around in the casual buff a lot more than the job requires and they look like they are posing anyway. It's just a gift that not all of them have and it shows up when they are in front of the camera. Gummi was a lot like that and not surprisingly she had a lot of Playboy Special Edition credits.

Somebody who has loads of that is Star. I think she just got dressed to get on a plane.

She ewas THE first woman I was to trace and put into a quicksand situation. I would put that in the 1977-78 time frame. Awesome model with a stupendous figure for her time.

Miss December 1968 - Cynthia Myers. All the accomplishments of mankind would be diminished somewhat if these images had never been captured. Miss Myers was not quite 18 when these photos were taken but they weren't published until three months after her 18th birthday. You'd never get away with that today.

You picked a great one to begin with. The photo of her kneeling has consistently been rated the top Playboy centerfold image of all time. It certainly makes my short list. By the 70's most of the photos had become so glamorized that you could lose the subject in all the lights and sparkles. I'm not against all that because it has a place but I think we are all attracted most to images that look like something we might at least have had a chance to take ourselves.

This is my very favorite photo of an actress that I admired greatly when I was young...Grace Lee Whitney. She died last year.

I think, though, this is the nakedest she ever got. Lots of skin, but still it's coverage.

She said in her book that she was over 50 when it was taken.

I like that. I'm a big fan of good looking grown up women and there are a lot of them when somebody pays attention. Captain Kirk had to have a Vulcan as exec so he could spend time with all these fabulous ladies on Enterprise.

Hef may never have dated anyone over 24 but he didn't have a problem with them in Playboy. Terri Moore was one of those actresses you probably never paid attention to but she was all over Hollywood back in the day. Married briefly to Howard Hughes and nominated for an Oscar, she's been in everything. A real hottie back in the day she's a lifetime fitness fanatic who posed for Playboy at age 55. At 86 she's a granny who still works out.

looking back at my youth, growing up with Playboy, it's interesting who they would feature in the early 60s that you didn't see later
Pamela Gordon comes to mind, not for her figure but for all those freckles!

Some of these did appear in Playboy. I had that issue...bought for some other article that was in it and I was very surprised to see them.

What I like about these is that they were taken before anyone knew who she was and there isn't any Photoshop involved.

Everybody is adding some interesting work here and their comments make it even better. Nessie, you are one person I don't laugh at when you said you bought Playboy to read. I remember those photos of Madonna. She was actually kind of innocent looking then as opposed to today when she looks like she'd eat a guy alive.

I always look for images that are outdoors. I love wet skin or things that might at least be peripherally connected to our main fetish interest here.
