Here's some Sandman action from a recent Spider-man comic... The illustrations are pretty cool, and could easily double for sinking.

you're welcome = De nada.

Quicksand = arena movediza o (or) arenas movedizas

Swamp = Pantano

Sink = hundir

Sinking = hundirse

The one with the "swamp rat" luring the crook into the swamp and using the log rolling trick ... I had seen that when I was a kid but never had the comic book. I was always hoping I'd run across it again some day, and even posted a description of the scene on this very board And now here it is. The art is not as good as I remember it being, but I always liked the story. Thanks for sharing it!

I subscribe to c3c@yahoogroups.com in my e-mails.

Another subscriber has been posting a flood of DID scenes from the German comic series Gespenster Geschichten. At least two scenes involved quicksand.

But when I tried clear away the messages without swamp scenes, I foolishly did a mass deletion.

I asked the persons who posted the Gespenster Geschichten to resend the swamp scenes.
