I'd take the M60. The novelty of having a belt gun would wear off really quick and then you'll realize you just spent $8,000 (no joke, that's the MSRP on that thing WTF?!!) on a 20lb AR that's hard to reload.

Yeah , I heard the 8k pricetag, and for what as you say is essentially a belt-fed AR? Well, there's one born every minute I guess. Probably a lot will be drawn in thinking , "it's a SAW" not realizing, em, not really fellas....

It's post 1986 manufacture so you couldn't get a tax stamp for it even if you could convert it to full auto.....which you can't. They redesigned it to shoot from closed bolt instead of open bolt, so regualar SAW parts wouldn't fit.

M60 is on my list of "someday" stuff. Since they're made before '86 you can do the federal paperwork and take one of those home for 3-5 grand. Still expensive as hell but at least you're spending your money on the real deal.
