I too, like bondage with my quicksand. Some of my favorite scenes from our esteemed producers have some elements of BDSM in them (Kristine is the Quicksand Mistress personified, and gorgeous being so!). I think the person being at least partially helpless when they encounter the quicksand adds to the peril aspect of it and makes it more believable a danger. I can confirm that the real thing does exist but there is most certainly not much video material showing the real thing, which I think is actually a good thing as BDSM and breath control really has more in common with BDSM and breath control interests than it does with mud interests. However, I am also very aware that some of the lighter duty aspects of BDSM and breath control are shared by many mud fetishists and that such interests are not particularly harmful or dangerous if done with full consent of all involved with due regard for doing things in a safe manner.

But, this thread is about the heavy duty side of things. I have had only one unintended experience in that regard. The practicality of actual penetration under the surface is completely unnecessary, it can easily be implied.

To not want to do that is their own personal prerogative, and that is respectable. Even if producers wanted to, and some would, it's as much a budget/cost issue as anything. Getting boy/girl together within the economic limitations of your typical qs video would be a challenge. Getting guys on the set also carries it's own set of complications so it's just not worth it. Instead of qs producers doing a porn sink you might have an easier time getting porn producers to do a qs sink. If somebody wanted to sponsor such a scene and had a willing and professional couple to star in it then I'm sure you could find a qs producer who would get it on video. It definitely does not hurt to encourage them to create what you would like to see.
