By large sized I meant enough oversized for the performer that after being sliced there would be enough material to overlap and permit se of the velcro. Properly done the result would be something normally sized.

Hmm, the problem then is that everyone will see that your model is wearing a chunky oversized pair of waders. I guess, that will not look too good on tape.
Another wardrobe option would be those tight-fitting neoprene stockingfoot waders. There won't get too much water inside, give more movement compared with the standard rubber-ones and you can combine them with longer wellies or hip-boots for a "chest-wader-look". They are much more expensive though.
Nessie has used these in the past and she may give more advice how they look and feel while in the bog.

Yeah, I agree, it should be a waterproof velcro on the front of the waders so when the shoot is done, the model can just step out.

Maybe the waders could sink to just below the tops, so filling with mud wouldn't be a problem.

The mention of rainwear intrigues me more than does the waders. May I ask what would be the content of a scene in that category? Are you talking about going in the mud with raingear on, with it staying on for the whole scene or are we talking about a scene that starts in the rain with the actress wearing raingear? Or something else?

I Are there any producers here that would consider producing a scene or two (or more) with models wearing chest waders? I know there are producers that cater to the rubber and rainwear fetishes, but few combine that with deep mud and sinking.

I like the combination of raingear and mud. If it were a video, the scene would preferrably be where the model wears raingear into the mire. (I don't always watch these)
Honestly, I'd rather sink in mud rather than watch someone else sink. For me, having the rainwear is a very important part.

Based on the thread content, which suggests a very high degree of specificity in each person's interest, I would have to place this concept in the category of a custom scene only, at least to the extent of keeping this gear on for the duration.
