Based on recent events here, I feel I must speak up.

I have absolutely no problem with Gay, Lesbian, Bi, however you feel about your sexual orientation. Im not Racist or a Bigot, im probably one of the most fair tolerant just people you will ever find on the internet.

Im just a guy in his twenties from Newfoundland, Canada who has a penchant for quicksand and exotic things, German and Japanese things in particular.

Its really unfortunate that we had a troll here trying to make people look bad, but thats the internet I guess.

Just had to get that off of my chest.

No, it wasn't you. I've exchanged a number of private messages with the guy (in two of his incarnations), and probably have a better insight into his psyche than most. He has issues. It bothers him that he's "different," for which I sympathise with him. What I don't sympathise with, however, is his habit of jumping up and down and screaming "I'm different" from the rooftops. Over and over again. And then, when someone finally says, "Yeah, you're different. We get it. Now change the record," he immediately screams "Prejudice" and "Victimisation." Someone was bound to have set him off, sooner or later.

He's a drama queen. He wants attention and hates it. He wants to court controversy and screams foul when he does so. I'm not sufficiently versed in psychology to tell you why; nor whether there's anything to be done. It may come as no surprise to learn that he's shut down his Youtube account - including those collections of Lovecraftian imagery which I rather liked. The dramatic gesture is his thing.

Privately, and on more than one occasion, I've tried to calm him down, and to extend what I thought was the hand of friendship. He bit it. He probably hates me more than the rest of you, now. Yes, for the record, I did promise not to let on what user-name he'd used before. But after he'd made it so blindingly obvious, there seemed little point in me being discreet.

Honestly, I'm sorry for the guy. I know about issues; I have plenty. I've also rubbed people up the wrong way in my time, only to realise an hour later what an arse I've been.

Oh, what the hell. Life's too short for this.

The identity of these two usernames was revealed to me as well, though no promises were made. I would be rather surprised if the identity was not also revealed to others, aside from being pretty obvious. In any case, I would read the reveal as little more than a set-up for the later complaint.

Exactly. I saw the post that set off the latest implosion, and was SO tempted to reply "Here we go again. . ." But I was polite and restrained myself.

Back in the Deep Sinking era, I created an alt that was just an average, anonymous "Joe six-pack" quicksander- I forget exactly why. I didn't continue it long- was too much work keeping track of which one I was, and keeping everything separate. Besides, he was as interesting as oatmeal.
