As the path narrows you find yourself face to face with a dark towering Shadow. A shadow composed of all your doubts and fears. And he's well armed to defend the treasure.

That pit looks ace!
We used to have a deep mud pit too. Our house is built near a natural spring and one of the old "pipes" lead it to behind our house. It literally touched the house as well so we had to sort it out. Built a relief well nearby which solved all the problems.

I was only young at the time too so it was nice, fairly shallow (waist deep) practice.

Currently live near 2 massive expanses of peat bogs (thick ones with no moss) and quicksand. Not too close but not too far :D .

So.. jealous...

I live very close to a bog/marsh that has some GREAT looking spots but is also a very public place.

You actually OWN property with quicksand on it? My friend, you are living the dream. 8-)

Here's some more shots of my mud pit. It can be quite a bit of work to get out to the middle sometimes so I thought I would take some pictures while I was making my way out to the center.

Very nice! I also live near a tidal mudpit. The nice thing about it is if you time it right you can make sure the tide is coming up when you're ready to leave. Makes cleanup a bit easier.

Man, you're so lucky to have an own natural pit! How deep is that? :)
