This one is from The Phantom comic... our Ghost Who Walks has been rendered blind by the bad guys and falls into... well... you know... :D

Very nice find.

The gruesome demise of the bad guy brings back childhood haunts. When I was a kid, and scared stiff of QS, I had a fear that every Tarzan film or TV episode would end up with this kind of scene. There was no other way to get rid of the villain, right?

Here's a few more comic book scenes...

One is from the comic book tie in to Valley of the Dinosaurs (?) which was based on a TV show I think...

The other is more of a sand burial than sinking, but the images are still pretty cool...

Cool...I'd love to see more images like this, especially starring hot women ;)

So would I... but alas, they are few and far between... :(

Anyway, here's a new one I've found from a story in Boris Karloff comics, which did have a few cool scenes... which I posted ages back. This one is new to me.

Haven't added to this in a while... here's an old horror comic I posted before elsewhere, but thought maybe folks would like to read the whole story... Love those old comic book swamps... :D
