Vincent Pastore, best known for his role in "The Sopranos" television series, has died, his manager confirmed to CBS News. He was 80.
"I had the privilege of representing Vinny for more than 30 years, long before The Sopranos made him a household name," his manager Robert Attermann said in a statement. "To the world, he will always be remembered as the unforgettable 'Big Pussy,' but to those of us who knew him, he was so much more."
Pastore was found dead inside his Bronx home Saturday afternoon, and there was no indication of criminality, according to authorities.

Don Nelson, 86. Five time NBA champion as a player with the Celtics. Hall of Famer as a coach. Three time Coach of the Year with 1335 victories, 2nd all-time. He got the most out of his physical ability as a player. Asked once how he could keep competing at his age, he replied that, if you have no real talent, then you don’t have anything to lose with age. Also a pretty good guy, and I am a Sixers fan. RIP.

Exactly. I was watching the interview live in 1969 when he made that clever comment. He had just made a game-sealing shot, game 7, to win the NBA title.

Just a few weeks ago, while tidying up my DVD collection, I came across this one and remembered that the lead actress, Michelle Trachtenberg, passed away just last year—something I still find hard to believe... and now her co-star, Hayden Panettiere, has passed away too... what a world.
