Chuck Norris you will be missed.
Quite some time ago (in the late 1990's) I was chatting online with country singer Lila McCann who just guest starred on Walker Texas Ranger said that Chuck Norris was a really nice guy to work with,

Dash Crofts, one half of the beloved soft rock duo Seals and Crofts, has died.

He was 85.
Louie Shelton, who produced the group during the 1970s, shared the news of his passing on social media.
“Sad to hear our dear brother and partner in music has passed away today,’ he wrote. “Sending love and prayers to all his family and fans.”
TMZ reported that a family member of Crofts, whose real name was Darrell George Crofts, said that he passed away due to complications following heart surgery.
He combined with Jim Seals to form Seals and Crofts in 1969 and the duo had some big hits. The biggest of those was 1972’s “Summer Breeze” which made it to No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1972, and the band followed that with another hit, “Diamond Girl” which also made it to No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1973. The duo also had “Get Closer” which made it to No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1976.
The group had other hits too such as “I’ll Play for You,” and “You’re the Love.”
Seals and Crofts released the first of its 17 albums, “Seals & Crofts,” in 1969. After 1980’s “The Longest Road,” the duo split up. That led to a 24 year gap before they released their final album, “Traces,” in 2004.
Jim Seals died in 2022.

I remember driving to high school senior year and listening to the smooth harmonies of Summer Breeze. I enjoyed all of their charting songs, and they wrote all their own music. RIP.
