Nothing from here talked about the crush syndrome due to quicksands. Does somebody live this?

I'm surprised as well, because sinking in quicksand does feel a bit like being crushed under a bombed building. /s

Seriously though, if this were a thing, nobody would be able to submerge in water deeper than 10 feet without a rigid diving suit.

What is described as "crush syndrome" would never occur in mud any more thanit would in water. The added pressure from the weight of the mud is trivial compared to the strength of one's cells. On the other hand, the phenomenon of feeling it to be hard to breathe, when the mouth and/or nose is open to the atmosphere but the lungs are under a foot or so of some fluid is very real. The difference in pressure really does make it harder to breathe, especially if the muscles used for breathing are not used to it. As a child I remember vividly feling it hard to breath when neck deep in water. I no longer felt that when I got older (and was on the college swimming and water polo teams). The breathing muscles just get stronger. The effect gets stronger as the lungs are moved deeper, which is why it can be very hazardous (read: deadly) to try to dive more than a few feet using a tube open to the atmosphere.
Studio 588 currently offers more than 2200 different HD and QD quicksand videos and has supported production of well over 2400 video scenes and other projects by 20 different producers. Info may be found at:
