Hi Cerberus,

How can my brother install Torch and Pytorch?
Does he need Anaconda or hugging face program?

He shouldn't need to do any of that. When you run webui-user.bat for the first time Stable Diffusion should download and install them automatically. It will take a bit longer than normal to run because it is doing this. If it doesn't do this it means that there's something wrong with the setup that needs to be resolved.

Oh okay, he download the two files and when he runs the setup it says can'find Torch and Pytorch, his laptop acts strange. Or he is doing something wrong it's hard to find.
He installed pip and pyhing and has the runs setup for Stable but it gives errors for not finding files.

Last time he didn't have pip. pip is needed to install torch and torchvision. I presume he has pip now but is still having problems. He shouldn't have needed to download any files for torch and torchvision, pip should do that. Can I see the error message/s he's getting please?

This setup doesn't look right, python can't find the activate.bat script, it should be in the place indicated in the screen dump. Check that it's there and that the structures under stable-diffusion-webui are the same for you and your brother.
Secondly pip doesn't appear to be installed, it should be in ...\stable-diffusion-webui\venv\Scripts as pip.exe, pip.3.10.exe and pip3.exe

You can download a file to install pip here https://bootstrap.pypa.io/get-pip.py

Ensure the get-pip.py file is in you stable-diffusion-webui folder and then, from a command prompt initiated within your stable-diffusion-webui folder execute as follows:

py get-pip.py

This should set up pip for you.

If you are agree he can follow you step by step how to install SD, even I get dizzy of the steps.

Yes OK, but go through the "Notes" feature rather than commenting on my profile, it will be a bit more private.

One thing I've noticed from the most recent screen print you posted is that he's running the 32 bit version of Python 3.10.6. In an earlier screen print he was running the 64 bit version of Python 3.12. This may be at least a part of his problems, it he's running 64 bit Windows he should be running 64 bit Python.

Tomorrow I will asks him about it, I think its better to use DA for the last attempt, if he is going to use DA I will let him text you private messages.
I think my brother and I are thinking and doing to hard, I think it could be easier to install.
