Ahh, at least you had an experience, though. Many of mine pass without fanfare too but hey...I still enjoy them. Cows, though...I don't need.

Turtles and frogs, though, I tolerate well.

Keep an eye out for snapping turtles and poison sumac!

I still have a few weeks more to wait before my season begins.

The only turtle I ever saw was so lazy that I easily got footage of him, so I ain't very worried about them...but as for that sumac, yes, that is the very mudpit where it grew and I've still got those clippers from last year.

Their evil limbs shall be hacked to bits. Let their hideous sap run and the stench of bloody tree death fill the air.

Although I am in a different climate zone in Pennsylvania, I agree on the sumack issue - Death to Sumack and Poison Ivy!!. The briar bushes in the wet areas around here are enough to discourage you, let alone the poison sumack, oak, ivy. I am not green in my sympathies with such plants!

I went under plenty in my more commercial ventures. At the Studio there's always a hose and there is always Fred.

I do like it deep but I don't require submersion to satisfy me so I don't actually do this when I'm alone anyway. Another reason is, if I am alone out there, which most of the time I am, I tell ya...it'd be a lonnnnnnnnnnnnng crawl back to my car if I got some of that gunk in my eyes and I wasn't able to get it out. You're talking scratchy little peat particles and cleanup water that isn't all that clean.

I wasn't alone for this clip...but he doesn't drive.

I've not been around much of late, but I must say Nessie, it's great to see you're still out there sinking, and you look lovely in a bikini. Thank you for sharing.
