Well, follow the dropbox link in my reply to Bogbud, it leads to the 1.7MB version of the picture, so you can do a much closer investigation!

cerberus wrote:Another experiment, I've put some 1920*1200 resolution images in a folder on my Dropbox. This fits my screen size/resolution, hopefully, they'll fit some of yours as well; please note: the images are about 3.6MB each. if accessible you are welcome to copy them for use as wallpaper. They're pirates, you all like pirates don't you? Can somebody check to make sure the link is accessible and post back here?

And thank you for sharing this. Nice work.

Thank you. Good to know it works, I was beginning to wonder, it went quiet here for a while. I've been having a bit of a play with other resolutions, it's manageable up to 2K/QHD - 2560*1440, but 4K/Ultra HD - 3840*2160 is really slow, maxes out my GPU memory, produces 12MB images and seems to produce twins all the time, but not in a good way! The eyes are quite striking though, very realistic.

Thanks a lot. This is working great!
Regarding resolutions, i guess for Monitors, that 2K (2560x1440) has established itself as the new standard. HD is still okay and it's also the same ratio.
4K is something more for TVs?
I'm more a fan of your clothed damsels (leaves a bit more imagination). So bring on your Victorian ladies, rubber-jumpsuited gals and jungle explorers! Pretty please!![]()

Is the 2K (2560x1440) the resolution you use? I've put a folder for this on my Dropbox, there's not a lot in it at the moment SD hasn't been playing ball today, but I'm starting to get a few usable ones. I'll try to get a few more up tomorrow. Note: these have clothes! The link is:

If your resolution is different, let me know and I'll do some that are in the right proportions at least.
PS: Anybody on this forum should be able to view the dropbox link content and make local copied for their own use; however, please don't post them elsewhere, they are only intended for members of this forum.
