Washington River Mud Locations?

I have been trying to look for possible river mud locations around island, Skagit, and Snohomish county. I have tried looking at the skagit, stillguamish, and Snohomish river in Google maps: However, I have been having issues trying to find parking spots. It also appears that these rivers have more loose stone than clay, and also don't seem to drain or dry up exposing mud. I know that the river deltas are an option, but I honestly have no idea where to clean there.

Have you considered the wetlands around Everett?

If you mean the Spencer island area (+ north of it) then yeah. I was able to look at that place online since parts of the trail have street view.

Where along Marysville? And for river mud I might have a few possible locations (although I've never explored those places). I found an article stating something about clay soils around the middle fork Snoqualmie river. However, I don't think exposed clay mud is as common around here. My best guess is that this could be because the rivers don't tend to dry up and expose any clay, and the majority of river deposits end up in the river deltas around here. It is also possible that the river banks do have clay, but they're usually covered in river stones or gravel. After more research it also seems that clay / silt is more common along slow moving rivers. Rivers tend to move slower in flatter areas (as well as river bends), which makes the skagit river a possibility since the mt. Vernon - Burlington area seems to be located in flat lowlands. It seems that the majority of Western Washington's "good quality" mud exists near the sound.

What about the park at the west end of the Floating Bridge? If I am not mistaken, I recall that there was some nice soft stuff there.

Mind you, this intelligence is about 25 years old. In looking at Google Maps, the eastern end of the lake at Bellevue Way/I-90 looks more interesting.
