When giving up drinking works in other ways
March 28, 2018 is when I had one shot too many and wrecked my car - gave up drink, joined a fine A.A. group and improved my life. Saved money too and took that and plowed it into a practical if insane project - 52" Model of the Battleship Yamato. Built one when I was 17 and the second took 4 months and radio control another month or so Here she is in our HOA pool.

Sorry I missed this for a couple of reasons. One I'm kind of a total temperance crusader and the the other is that's really some great work. You've obviously hidden quite a talent. Best of luck to you on both. 
It's a dirty job but I got to do it for 27 years. Thank you.

You're not alone. I gave up alcohol entirely in the spring of 2006. It's absolutely amazing how the world opened up once THAT was kicked out of my life.
