I remember one particular cartoon from the early 70's about skinny-dipping hippies that must have made a real impression on me. Spy vs. Spy was my big pleasure. I heard about this when Weird Al Yankovich tweeted about it. Not surprising it was a big deal for his formative years as well. He regarded making the cover as something akin to the birth of his first child. I feel a great disturbance in the winds of weirdness that shaped so many adolescent perverts and senses of humor.

I seem to remember their parody of "Star Trek", in which a two-man away team made the following exchange:-
"I don't think we're coming back from this one".
"Why not?"
"Because we're not members of the REGULAR CAST!"
And the next frame showed Kirk and Spock on the bridge taking the message:-
"No! No! Don't land here! Don't land here! Aaaaaaarrrrrggggghhhh!"
(Kirk) "Oh well, at least they weren't members of the regular cast...."
