She looks a bit frustrated! Nicely drawn. And I really like all the detail in the background. I have admired your work ever since I was a quicksand newbie.

This scenario is a bit of a pet favourite. There's no sensible or logical reason why a particular patch of sediment should be "quicksand", but finding out the hard way - and finding it surprisingly deep - is a thrill to see.

Ah, yes, Barbi's quite the favorite. I love how you make a woman who's rough, tough, unkempt, and unwashed look so sexy.

Barbi's facial expression says it all... frustrated and pissed off to be in such a helpless, embarrassing situation. It seems that the fact she's hopelessly stuck fast and tight in a perilous predicament isn't of concern to her... she's probably more concerned that a powerful, "No Fear" warrior babe like her is in such a humiliating position and actually in need of help from someone. Of course, having been stuck there impatiently waiting for help for quite some time, she's probably mumbling to herself, "I guess there's no one around here, either!"

I love the sweat you drew trickling down Barbi's face, arms, and breasts... evidence that she's been putting up a good, hard, intense struggle for hours to get free from the moment her feet and legs got stuck in the mud to this point where her arms and body are deeply mired and hopelessly trapped in the suction and tenacity of the shoreline ooze. It is obvious that all her attempts to get free have failed miserably as she slowly sinks to her doom. I've always liked the impressive, though soften muscle tone you give this lass. And, that depth you have her sunk and stuck at is such a classic of yours... it says "sexy" and "hopelessly stuck" so very well.

The other thing I like about this drawing is the background... very impressive, detailed, desolate, remote, and dominating. The detail work on the mud bank Barbi is trapped in is outstanding! The leaves, grains, and grass are all wonderful touches. What I really noticed about the background is this... usually it's Barbi who is the dominating figure, yet in this drawing it's nature that is clearly the dominating figure, which towers over her in all ways and is in full control. It would seem Barbi has possibly met her match.
