Has anyone tried VLC 3 ?

I think version 3 of the VLC media player was released a day or so ago. If anyone has tried using it I suspect a review or three would be useful to a lot of people here.

Yes but this is what they say it will do. What I was asking about is reviews of what it really does and how well it works.
