It feels odd to admit this, but my girlfriend in college got me hooked on Guiding Light back in those days. I had a departmental 'video technician' gig back then, with office hours - right when the soap was on.

The scene itself was pretty lame, except for maybe the classic arm coming back up, grasping for whatever. In fact, for pure boner value, there were some very tasty shots of tied up gal in various places on the 'island', sometimes soaking wet. I think that stuff was just as arousing as the quicksand scene (which was shot in a deep jacuzzi btw).
