The spot where that news clip was filmed doesn't exist anymore. Highway 401 widening near Mavis Rd. has seen to that. Even when it did exist there wasn't much more than silt about a foot deep. The danger signs looked cool though.

There is another similar spot along the Welland Canal and lots of opportunities in Niagara. Short Hills PP I encountered some once upon a time ...
