WOW! Aero Spacelines Super Guppy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Guppy

The first such design that I've seen was much newer (and bigger) Airbus Beluga http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airbus_Beluga

But the recently developed giant Boeing Dreamlifter is even more impressive http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_747 ... _Freighter

Nice, I didn't know they had a flying example left. Only one I had seen was the static one in Brockville, on the riverfront. :)

Thanks! When I was just a little guy, the F-86 was the plane I dreamed about flying. It just looks cool.

A strange engine noise caught my ears and I looked up in time to see Hawk 1, The Vintage Wings of Canada F-86 Sabre fly overhead looping out to the Gatineau airport. Had to take the sight in, sorry no camera available. More about Hawk 1 available here: http://www.vintagewings.ca/Aircraft/tab ... bre-5.aspx

There hasn't been a whole lot of stuff out there from the current ops in the Med, but here's a little bit for the Marine Aviation fans ;)
