Re: Back to making QS fakes again.
Just to let you folks know...
I'm taking a break from posting to get a health issue sorted out. Its nothing serious or scary - just painful and inconveniencing. I can't really say when I'll be back and posting again. That will depend on how quickly I recover from surgery.
So, bye for now and, all things being well, see you when its all over.
Redjak.

Re: Back to making QS fakes again.
Reporting in.
As of yesterday I have a titanium steel right hip joint and I didn't feel a thing. The last thing I remember was a nurse saying that he was going to put an oxygen mask on me and then I was in the recovery room, coming round. This thing is supposed to be good for 15 years.
I'm now at home, limping around on crutches and full recovery is expected to take 6 weeks. Being somewhat immobile I can spend more time sitting at my computer. But that doesn't mean that I'm back and creating new qs fakes. Nope. I'm tired and using meds for pain management. All in all I can't seem to raise the necessary degree of concentration needed to use my photomanipulation programs.
So I'm playing a waiting game.
Thanks again for the kind words and hopefully I'll get back in the saddle in several weeks time.
All the best,
Redjak.

Re: Back to making QS fakes again.
Hi all!
I have two updates today.
One about the real me and one about my evil alter ego, Redjak the Quicksand Killer.
First, me. I'm going for a check up at my local hospital tomorrow and fingers crossed, they'll be pleased with the progress I'm making. I should be able to do without crutches soon and maybe I'll get driving again, some time next month. All of this time recuperating at home has had a side benefit, tho'.
This is where the update about Redjak, the quicksand-obsessed abductor of young women comes in.
His experiments with modifying the DNA of constricting snakes like Anacondas, Boas and Reticulated Pythons have finally born fruit. He has now been able to create a number of genetically modified Anacondas that deviate from their natural counterparts in the following ways.
1.
They are 50% longer and bulkier, growing up to 45 feet long and weighing up to 750 lbs. This means that they are proportionately more powerful in terms of their muscular constricting power and for the length of time over which they can constrict their prey.
2.
In the wild Anacondas readily swim in water, but these modified ones are now quicksand-loving and able to slither over the surface of quicksand or dive and swim under the surface. Their respiratory systems have been enhanced to allow them to remain up submerged in mud for up to 30 mins and they are also equipped with a inner valve that seals their nostrils shut - preventing in the incursion of mud.
While under the surface they can sense their surroundings and their prey with pressure-sensitive organs, much like the lateral line of fish.
3.
Redjak has been able to encode certain behaviours into his modified snakes to allow him to explore new ways of feeding his quicksand obsession.
His Anacondas will now instinctively seek out, wrap their coils around and constrict young women and girls who are helplessly bound and gagged or mummified in tape and gagged. What this means in practice is that when Redjak puts one of his victims in a quicksand pit, one of his Anacondas waiting for her in that pit will immediately wrap and constrict her.
This will place her in further peril in three ways. First, the snake will act as an additional kind of bondage, holding the woman tightly and preventing her from escaping. Second, it will slowly asphyxiate her, just as all constricting snakes asphyxiate their prey. Lastly, the added weight of the snake will cause the woman to sink into the quicksand, dragging her deeper and deeper in, despite her efforts to stay afloat.
Redjak's victims will be helplessly bound and gagged (or mummified), trapped in the powerful coils of an immense snake and sinking into deadly quicksand.
Thank you,
Redjak.
