Well, lets figure this out, The character sinks in quicksand but not seen doing so because she is encased in the trunk of a car sinking. She doesn't drown because she is already dead. An actress is also in the movie who did a well famous quicksand scene in another movie, who actually is related to the other actress as her sister!, I am amazed it didn't win any awards, but it is know for that frightening scene in the shower! Janet Leigh in the trunk, Vera Miles in the movie - it's Psycho!

Which mainstream actor and actress have done the most quicksand scenes in different productions as the one in the quicksand? I know Doug McClure(you probably remember him from such productions as Gidget and Out of this world) has done at least two.

For the male I would guess Ron Ely. According to my copy of Crypto's List he did at least three.
