AI video of men sinking

I've been trying Flux AI video recently, and after many many many failures in generating AI guys sinking in mud I did finally get a couple of decent results.

My main problem is:

1. getting the mud right, Flux AI always wants to make it just muddy water. Even when you do get it to make decent mud, it often just ends up as muddy water. Even when you give it a starting and ending image with no surface water, it always adds it to the middle of the clip!

2. getting the character right. I found it was best just to work with the image creation tools separately till you got what you wanted. It seemed almost impossible to get a man with no facial hair, and very easy to get an absurdly muscular character when all you want is athletic. Google ImageFX is way better in this regard. (I don't know how ImageFX is at making women, I've never tried, but I would advise trying it. Unfortunately it's IP geolcation is broken for me, although I am in a country where it is supported, and my IP address says so, it tells me it's not available in my country. It used to work).

3. getting the character deep enough into the mud. It took numerous attempts to get a character much more than waist deep in. If I supply an ending image of just some mud it'll make the character sink under but it will be a bit weird unless you can generate the same mud.

The first video is entirely Flux AI video (both the starting image and the video). The second started with a Google ImageFX generated guy then run through Flux AI.
