Starting a new thread to document the AI animations I do in this year. Things have significantly progressed since I started with AI, and no doubt more will advance in the coming year. This space is dedicated to polished outputs rather than experimental clips, using a whole suite of tools and skills in the workflow.

The first item is an homage to an original art concept I made years ago. "Field Trip":

What was meant to be a routine field trip takes a horrifying turn when two senior girls, Alice and Charlotte, go missing in the dense woodland. Their teacher, Ms. Ricci, sets out to find them before nightfall, following their faint tracks deeper into the forest. But as she pushes through the undergrowth, the earth shifts beneath her. A moment later, she is sinking—trapped in a pit of quicksand hidden beneath a layer of fallen leaves.

Stranded and waist-deep in the thick, clinging mire, she reaches for her phone. The signal is weak, but she manages a desperate call for help before her grip falters, and the device slips from her fingers, vanishing beneath the surface. Panic sets in. No one knows where she is. The school group is miles away.

Then, voices.

Alice and Charlotte emerge from the trees, breathless, relieved to have found their teacher—until they see her situation. Immediately, they scramble to help, grabbing branches, trying to get closer. But the forest floor is treacherous, and within moments, both girls find themselves trapped as well, the deceptive ground swallowing them up.

Their panic escalates as they struggle against the thick, unrelenting muck, each movement pulling them deeper. The phone is gone. Their shouts for help are swallowed by the vast, empty woods. With no other option, Ms. Ricci fights to stay calm, urging the girls to conserve their energy. They have to think. They have to act.

An idea. Clothing—long sleeves, knotted together. Stripping off their shirts, they tie them into a makeshift rope, stretching it toward the nearest branch. It’s their last hope. Trembling hands reach, muscles strain, but as they pull, the fabric gives way, slipping from the branch and vanishing into the mire.

Defeat. Exhaustion. Cold air against bare skin. Ms. Ricci, now submerged to her shoulders, exhales slowly, trying not to sink further. The girls exchange glances, their faces pale with fear. There is no way out.

And then—cracking branches. A sound in the distance. A flicker of hope.

But as the sun dips lower, casting long shadows through the trees, one question lingers in their minds: will help come in time?

A long awaited "trailer" for a collaboration with @sixgunzloaded

Renowned relic hunter Susan teams up with daring investigative journalist “Quicky” Sanders to chase down whispers of a hidden treasure buried deep in an ancient underground ruin. With Sanders’s knack for sniffing out leads and Susan’s uncanny expertise in navigating the unknown, the two form an unlikely partnership fueled by a shared thirst for discovery.

Venturing into the bowels of a forgotten temple, they chart a twisting labyrinth of corridors etched with eerie hieroglyphs. At last, they reach a sealed passage where they discover a strange golden skull ornament embedded in the stone. A cryptic inscription spirals around it, warning in archaic lettering: “Tread ye not into my domain, lest ye never tread out again.”

Ignoring the ominous warning in their quest for answers, Susan and Sanders take a few cautious steps forward—only to feel the solid ground beneath them turn treacherously soft. Quicksand, hidden beneath a veneer of safety, ensnares them in its relentless grip. Trapped and sinking past their waists, then their chests, they struggle in vain against the engulfing mire. As panic rises, the only silent witness to their fate is the gleaming skull, its chilling inscription echoing through the ruin’s desolate corridors

A long awaited "trailer" for a collaboration with @sixgunzloaded

Wow! This trailer is amazing. So much more advanced than I expected!
The 'long awaited' aspect of this collaboration is my fault, I'm afraid. I sorta got a little burned out on long sequences, so I put a bit of a hold on my part of it, temporarily. It will get done, though, and this animation is a good inspiration to continue.
It really is fantastic. The model playing Susan looks a little like Kari Wuhrer, I think. Which is very cool!
I just hope the picture story will live up to the video version! lol

Safari Girl: Betrayed
The guide was paid well. But in the company of a beautiful foreign tourist, the temptation can pull one down... like quicksand.

Rebecca realised too late that the guide had led her into quicksand. He was nowhere to be seen. Only when she was truly trapped that he appeared, suspiciously slow in his actions. He shouted out his demands. Sinking deeper, Rebecca had no choice...

The Cheer Squad
Returning from the game, the cheer squad bus takes an unfortunate swerve off the road, plunging the bus into a muddy swamp. With the mud filling the bus, the girls quickly make their way out, but become stranded in the mud. They watch the bus slowly disappear, but then realise that unless help arrives, they will soon go under as well...
