I've been working with SD since November last year now. My output has been almost exclusively attempts at photorealistic images. I'm not bored with this and I intend to keep doing it, there is a massive amount to experiment with and try out. However, I'm conscious that there are lots of other directions to investigate. I plan to post some of my "experiments" here and hope they will be received well. I will endeavour to stay on topic, but have found that in some cases it's difficult to tell! I'd like plenty of comments as I'll be venturing into areas and fields I've no previous experience of.
We'll start with a few images that are fairly standard.

Nice set of additions.
So the more sinister or high-fashion, special-interest-ones will be posted here?

Thanks for commenting, much appreciated. To be honest, I'm not sure what will be posted here. This thread is intended to show my non-photorealistic experiments and, at the moment, I've no idea where that is going to take me. I have a new checkpoint, (Lah) Mysterious, which has been my starting point, and I'm experimenting with some different Loras. There have been some interesting results so far, and some decidedly strange ones as well! Regarding your original question, there may be sinister, high-fashion and special-interest ones, thought I've never seen a reason not to post those in my other thread.
Maybe I should include a few of the "different" images to help you see where I'm going. How about some smoke and mirrors, this effect comes from a Lora called Gloom and Shadow. Effects vary dramatically depending on the strength with which you apply it, these are mostly mid strength.
Back to something a bit more conventional.

Oh my, those unconventional ones look like stills from some science-fiction-movie.
Like, human settlers are exploring this seemingly uninhabited planet only to discover that the planet itself is an entity.
That thing that looks like a woman and just did grow out of the ground in front of them is it's envoy.

Ah, a bit like Solaris then! I remember seeing the original Russian film, back in the mid-1970s, over three hours of subtitles and sitting on hard wooden chairs. Luckily they put in an intermission, not sure I'd have made it to the end otherwise. Brilliant film though, one of the best Sci-fi films I've seen.
It is an interesting effect, isn't it. As the strength applied to the Lora goes up the colour leaches out of the image until it is monochrome. It also changes step by step, sometimes quite dramatically. I'll include a couple of higher strength ones in todays post so you can see what I mean. Hopefully I can find some other interesting Loras for additional effects, we shall see.
Note that, as the strength goes up the figures become more insubstantial, at max strength you can end up with just smoke trails.
This is a low strength one, but it changed the original significantly and for the better in my view
This was another Lora that adds various lighting effects, here I chose lightning.
I'm just playing at the moment seeing what happens and what I Likr.

Yep, works for me as well, it's the otherworldliness of the results that appeal, the things that look normal at first glance but then you realise they're not what they seem.
A few more for your delectation.
Oops, how did that get in here!
I think in this one she's carrying the yoke, obviously has plans for it!
Lora called FaeTastic, it's a bit cutesy but maybe I can make it more menacing, we shall see in due course.
No Loras applied here just as the checkpoint made it.
Well, it seems clothes may be optional, but they are usually present even if you specify naked, Gloom and strength .2 fixed that in this one!

One for me I guess?
Very nice formfitting suit and the hood is cool too.
That bondage will be a serious problem soon. It's like a prison without walls...
Probably the guards did say you're free to try to escape, we will even equip you with the appropriate, waterproof clothes....

Well, wasn't sure, the outfit looked like it fitted the bill, but I didn't know your position on yokes. I'm pleased to see I avoided all the cringe-worthy puns there. Good scenario. This was the first one I got with a realish set of waterproofs.
