I tend to like the sudden, unexpected surprises. One of my most memorable was an unfortunate woman at work, young and attractive. She was just about to go out for lunch when her phone rang, so she answered leaning with one elbow on her desk. She was wearing a long (calf length) narrow skirt. Anyway, her elbow slipped off the desk and she pitched forward. I heard her chair go flying and looked around just in time to see the back seam of her skirt split open all the way up to the waistband and fall apart like a pair of curtains. I was quite surprised (not as much as her though, she screamed and ran out of the room) to see pale green lace underwear, lace topped stockings and suspenders, She'd always seemed the sort for functional underwear rather than that kind of thing. I was quite impressed!

Ah, cold-weather-sinks! It's a really exciting adventure to hike across the snow-covered bog and hit the deep patch of mud so unexpectedly!
Of course it's essential to wear warm clothes under the waterproof outer shell.

I better keep watch and give her a hand before she sinks deeper than her neck-line and floods her suit.

Ah yes, that special moment when you step forward and your leading leg just keeps going down! We don't get a lot of snow here but I have experienced that a few times. The other one is hearing the ice creaking and and crackling as you walk across it, knowing that at some point it is going to give way but not when.
