AI video generation has given new life to some of the digital scraps on my cutting room floor. This image in particular is B-list at best, but when I got Meta AI to make the girls squirm and create the creepy custom voiceover I got inspired enough to even write a story for it. I mixed the clip down with some open source mud volcano sounds and, voila...

Double Trouble‘I don’t like this, Kara,’ whined Saya distrustfully as she cowered behind her inter-dimensional Kryptonian cousin, ‘He’s really giving ick.’
The beautiful Kara Zor-El considered the ominous warning from her distant relative as they stood on the muddy forest trail, surveying the sinister looking Louisiana swamp resident who had offered them solace. ‘We don’t have much of a choice,’ rebutted Kara, cautiously keeping her eyes on the bearded, shirtless stranger in filthy overalls, mud-caked rubber boots and a tattered purple LSU ball cap.
The stranded Supergirl was right. They had to put their faith in this haggard looking hillbilly if they were to have any chance of escaping the small army that was pursuing them.
‘He knows about the portal, Saya,’ reassured Kara, trying to convince herself as much as her multiversal mate, ‘He’s our best chance right now of getting back… home.’
The gorgeous, young Saya Ven-Ze gently put her hand on Kara’s shoulder, letting out a reluctant sigh before nodding submissively. Her short red cape fluttered in the humid breeze that rolled through the bayou as she leered at the sleazy looking swamper.
The man’s suspiciously subtle smile widened into a grin that looked more like a gnarly gnash. His awful tooth decay offered no more assurance to the repulsed pair of stranded supers. He indeed knew about the portal that had recently transported the two Kryptonians from a parallel dimension. He also knew about the armored column of government vehicles in hot pursuit of the beautiful young fugitives that stood scared and desperate before him.
The clock was ticking. The girls had to make a decision.
‘You said you know where the portal is,’ charged Kara, trying to appear in control and confident in her dark blue, body-hugging spandex leotard and short crimson and navy colored cape, ‘How do we know we can we trust you?’
‘You can’t,’ quipped the bearded backwoods dweller, in his creepy, raspy monotone voice, ‘Y’all gotta take a chance, I reckon.’
Chance was about as good as it was going to get for the desperate damsels. Their accidental journey to this dimension had consequently rendered them powerless; no flight capability, no super strength or speed… no extraordinary abilities whatsoever. They were vulnerable and helpless in a strange, unfriendly world and their ghoulish guide was fully aware of that fact as well.
The two anxious, spandex-clad supergirls traded worrisome glances as the distant rumble of the menacing military motorcade began to drone portentously in the background. The soldiers behind the approaching armored wall also knew that the mysterious portal had delivered more visitors, and were steadfastly moving to intercept.
‘Tick tock, ladies,’ the grizzly guide teased, licking his chops as he surveyed the caped couple’s slender, succulent figures with passive perversion, ‘I can bring y’all to that portal or y’all can wait here for the marines… Your call.’
Kara could almost feel the swamper’s pervy ocular orbs greedily groping their enticingly sensuous bodies. Saya’s “ick” assumption of him was well warranted. Nevertheless, they had to move. Kara took one of Saya’s hands and tenderly squeezed it. She drew a deep breath and exhaled slowly. ‘Ok,’ relented the blonde haired heroine, her chest rising and falling meditatively under her dark blue bodysuit, ‘Lead the way.’
The hairy hillbilly motioned for the pretty pair to follow him as he began to slosh through the ankle-deep ooze on the sketchy trail that lead into the sinister looking swamp.
The bubbling bayou muck squelched disturbingly around Saya’s form-fitting, high heeled copper-tone boots as her Kryptonian comrade pulled her along behind their shaggy chaperone. ‘Ick,’ whispered Saya to her hand holding, heroine cousin. Kara shot an acknowledging side eye glance back to her mud-trekking muse. Both girls knew their situation was becoming as sticky as the swamp mud under their boot heels.
On and on the icky escort marched the mired maidens through the squishy southern swamp. The nervous girls gasped and recoiled every time a gooey gas bubble popped in a puddle or burst in a bog. The gloom of the swamp engulfed them like a foreboding fog. It seemed as though this wicked world was closing in around them. Even the branches of the tall swamp trees seemed to hang over them loathingly.
‘H…How much further?’ inquired the skittish Saya, clinging tightly to one of Kara’s arms as they sauntered apprehensively through the slimy swamp sludge. Any semblance of a trail had disappeared far behind them. As far as the two superheroines were concerned, they would be lost without their creepy caretaker.
‘Keep movin’, ladies,’ suggested the huge hick in his gravelly voice to the cautious couple, ‘Your portal is just over yonder.’
The large Louisianan stopped at the edge of a glade. The pair of supergirls abruptly halted their unsteady advance as well. The massive man pointed his ear to the woods behind them. ‘They’re comin’ for you gals,’ surmised the guide as the sound of distant voices broke through the wetland ambience.
Saya and Kara’s anxiousness began to elevate. ‘Mister,’ reasoned Kara with urgency, ‘We need to find that portal… now. Please!’
The bearded bayou guide snickered and motioned toward the open glade with a chin nod. ‘Yer portal is out in the mangroves, just over there,’ he directed with a sadistic sneer, ‘Y’all can go ahead. I ain’t gettin’ anywhere near no alien wormhole.’
Kara looked concernedly to Saya, who was hesitantly shaking her head. The sound of the shouting behind them was getting louder. ‘Let’s go, Saya,’ suggested Kara, taking her beautiful Kryptonian cousin’s hand once again, ‘We have to do this… We can’t stay here!’
Saya bit her lip and nodded. She was trembling in her skin-tight, copper colored suit. ‘Together,’ she agreed, holding her dear cousin’s hand tightly and surrendering to their destiny.
‘Together,’ reiterated Kara with a warm smile, as she compassionately brushed an errant lock of light brown hair from Saya’s lovely face. The girls sheepishly began to flounder into the clearing. Kara looked over her shoulder at the grim guide, who was leaning against a tree with his arms crossed. An eerie grin garnished his bearded mug.
There was no sign of the sparkling, spiraling inter-dimensional portal that had brought the lovely ladies to this new existence. Kara looked back again at the guide.
‘Keep movin’ girls… just a bit further,’ directed the devilish redneck as he enjoyed the view of his guests’ supple derrières in their skimpy spandex leotards and their sensual, long legs as they slinked into the Louisiana swale.
Even without their powers, Kara knew they should have been able to sense the portal, but something was amiss. The tell-tale ringing in their ears was not present, nor was the signature smell of ozone or the crackling sounds that usually emitted from the cosmic corridor when the portal was open. Not even a goosebump grazed the flesh of the fearful females. The doubt that was cast on the supergirls from the onset of this adventure had begun to override their ambition.
Kara and Saya lumbered laboriously through the glade; the miserable mud emitted unpleasant squelching sounds as they painstakingly pulled their boots out for each step forward. Soon, the gooped girls progression became stagnant as their movement was hindered almost completely by the clingy clag tugging at their legs.
‘It’s… it’s not here,’ lamented Kara repeatedly, as a wave of panic washed over her, ‘The portal isn’t here.’ The castaway couple’s hearts sunk in their chests.
‘Kara,’ gasped Saya, hugging her cousin’s arm and moaning impatiently as she tried to free her legs from the swamp’s goopy grasp, ‘I’m stuck in this goo!’
‘We’re getting out of here,’ declared a defiant Kara, directing her scolding stare back at the gritty guide who was snickering to himself with his back against a sturdy cypress tree.
‘Y’all ain’t goin’ anywhere,’ the backwoods bully informed the paralyzed pair, watching with sinful satisfaction as the silty swamp muck inched up over the hapless heroines’ knees.
Kara and Saya felt a shroud of dread creep over them as the soupy sand around their trapped legs began to belch and bubble sickeningly. The oozing realization that they had been lead foolishly into a dangerous situation was beginning to ensnare them as treacherously as the swamp had.
‘That’s quicksand you’re in, supergirls,’ revealed the heinous hillbilly in his deviously deadpan tone, relishing the macabre moment that the two heroines realized they had been lured into a devious trap. ‘Y’all go ahead and struggle those pretty legs of yours all you want,’ he taunted, ‘There’s no escape.’
The girls gasped in horror at the revelation, immediately straining and struggling to try and free their trapped legs from the sucking sand pit. Goopy grit gurgled and churned around their shapely thighs as the caught Kryptonians pumped and pulled them desperately in the hungry quagmire.
‘Help us!’ pleaded Kara to the betraying backwoodsman, as her and Saya wiggled and writhed despondently down to their hips in the quivering quicksand trap.
The bearded backstabber did not respond. His attention had suddenly turned to the approaching foot soldiers who were barely a few hundred meters away and closing fast.
The girls guessed by his body language and ignorance that he had no desire to assist trapped pair, nor did he ever have any intention of helping them get to the portal. His whole schtick seemed to be for one purpose; to bury them in the bog. That assumption gained relevance when the mysterious marsh man abruptly walked away, leaving the sinking girls to the mercy of the mire or the military… whichever of the two would claim them first.
The bearded bad guy hadn’t originally planned on disposing of the girls so hastily. His first intent was to confine them and keep them as his personal pleasure slaves. He conspired to take turns with his powerless prisoners, subjecting them to his lewd, sadistic, sexual lusting back in his lice-infested bayou shack, on his soiled homemade mattress of airplane pillows and packing blankets… Just like he did the during previous occurrences when other inter-dimensional, sultry superheroines had haphazardly stumbled into his conniving clutches.
And just like the previous occurrences, the meddlesome military had foiled his fantasy fun, yet again forcing him to dispose of the sexy super-slaves in the backwoods bogs.
His so-called logic for kidnapping, torturing, raping and murdering pretty portal travelers was a self serving creed of greed; first, he declared that the “space bimbos” were given to him from God based on his proximity to the portal; second, if he couldn’t have them for himself then no one could.
Perhaps the portal would yet again yield more of the sexy supers, he hoped with a sigh as he vanished into the Louisiana swamp ahead of approaching soldiers. The weird and wonderful wormhole that seemed to appear and disappear randomly had plentifully and graciously gifted him with several scantily clad super-ladies already. He hoped that perhaps next time the army wouldn’t come snooping and he could keep a plaything or two under wraps a while longer before he had to dispose of them.
Luckily for the ritual killing redneck, the military wasn’t interested in hell-bent hillbilly hijinks. They wanted only to incarcerate the dimensional travelers that seemed to be popping up on long range Geiger counters with increasing frequency as of late.
Unfortunately to the chagrin of the searching soldiers, the sub-dimensional supers that appeared in this part of Louisiana seemed to disappear just as quickly…
‘UHN!’ cried Saya, her head dizzy and her chest heavy with panic. Her fit, young body was still stubbornly battling against the bog’s awful embrace, ‘Kara! It’s pulling us in!’
Kara bit her lip and shared a distressed glare with her suffering supersister. The sight of each other steadily sinking deeper into the horrible quicksand was elevating their anxiety to a fever pitch.
The helpless heroines squeaked out disheartened whimpers and moans as they fought hopelessly to escape the sandy sinkhole. Their frantic arms plunged into the soupy swamp silt as they tried impossibly to stay above it. Each defiant struggle sent their mired bodies ever deeper into the pit, ever closer to their doom.
Oozing muck poured in smotheringly over the sinking supergirls’ hips as their squirming bodies were drawn further into the bottomless, belching bog. Hideous gurgling and squelching noises plagued the pair as they descended deeper and deeper. The menacing mud puckered around their slim waists as the insidious suction slurped the doomed damsels down to their heaving chests.
‘Kara!’ gasped a frenetic Saya, holding her arms up over the surface of the gluey goop, ‘We’re going to be sucked under! I’m scared, Kara!’
liquid sand licked their spandex covered breasts before gulping them down with a horrifying gurgle.
‘Saya!’ exclaimed Kara dismally, looking over at her disappearing cousin as the swamp sludge overwhelmed them both. They exchanged looks of utter defeat and submission as they both felt themselves surrendering to the insatiable pull of the pit. ‘Don’t give up!’ begged Kara, ‘Keep fighting, Saya!’
Kara’s fleeting inspiration was misguided. Struggling only made them sink faster. Both girls cried out as their shoulders descended into the thick, burping ooze. Their long, lavish hair fanned out with their shimmering capes over the gruesome, gobbling quicksand as the gasping girls held their heads above the surface. They were mere moments away from their mutual extinction.
Cries of sheer terror from the drowning supergirls filled the air under the leafy swamp canopy. A few of the soldiers from the looming military force heard the screams as they zoned in on the glade.
‘Kara!’ yelped Saya with one last panicked plea, ‘Help me!!’ Wide eyed with terror, the defenseless dimension hopper screamed as quicksand closed in over her frightened face.
‘Saya! NO!!’ cried Kara remorsefully, before the greedy goo gurgled and gulped her completely under with a disgusting ‘GBLWERPLPLPLP’ sound.
Seeping swamp gas mixed with the sunken supergirls’ last lungfuls of precious air and bubbled belligerently to the surface of the bog, as dozens of camouflaged marines surrounded the gooey glade.
The sinky sand trap had settled, concealing any suspicious signs of struggling from the sunken superheroines. The military men paid little attention to the burping bayou as they passed by, electing to move along and search further into the swamp for the female fugitives.
They would never be found…
Sometime later in a nearby grove, an eerie calm preceded a shift in the wind. Suddenly the air sizzled to life with sparks and swirling light. A strange crackling sound filled the swamp as a perfect vertical halo of energy formed just inches above the ground. Another inter-dimensional portal had materialized. Strong gusts of ion-charged air blasted through the circular fissure, along with two involuntary travelers.
A pair of cosmic castaways tumbled violently onto the mushy swamp floor before the whirling wormhole shrunk down and disappeared into a pinpoint flash of brilliant light.
As quickly as the portal had appeared, it had vanished. In its wake, a duo of dimension hopping damsels clad in tight fitting bodysuits gathered themselves from the gritty ground.
‘R… Raven…’ mumbled Kara Zor-El incoherently in her rose shade leotard, from under her flashy, hot-pink colored cape, ‘What the…?’
‘It was no portal of mine,’ admitted the psychic, half-demon sorceress as she wiped dirt from her snowy white bodysuit and plum colored pantyhose, ‘I don’t know its origins yet.’
The confused and frazzled female friends helped clean and care for each other before assessing their situation.
The pretty-in-pink Supergirl tried unsuccessfully to rise up into the air to conduct a quick recon of the area. Frustrated, the attractive Kryptonian instead attempted a burst of super speed, only to fail miserably.
‘Damnit,’ cussed Kara, brooding with her hands resting impatiently on her hips, ‘I have no flight… no speed or strength. I’m grounded.’
Raven tucked a lock of her short purple bob behind her ear and tried to conjure a portal of her own. ‘Something’s wrong, Kara,’ she groaned as she strained herself in an attempt to activate one of her remote teleportation hubs, ‘I… I have no power here either.’
‘We’re sitting ducks,’ complained the strong, sensual Kryptonian. Her long blonde hair draped elegantly over her sturdy shoulder armor as she crossed her arms protestingly.
A small rustic looking residence amongst the trees caught the eye of Raven, who had already begun relying on earthbound instinct and survival skills instead of otherworldly abilities.
‘Over there,’ pointed the smolderingly sexy super sorceress to the destitute looking cabin in the distance, ‘I wonder if whoever resides there has any information about the busted boom tube we just got spewed out of.’
The sound of a military helicopter in the distance alerted the pretty caped comrades to an inconvenient development.
‘At this point, I’ll try anything,’ expressed Kara, leering suspiciously at the run down shack in the woods, ‘C’mon, Raven. Let’s get out of sight.’
The sound of the chopper in the distance grew louder. It was close enough that the heroines could feel the thumping of its whirling blades in their chests.
The pretty pair locked hands and scampered hastily toward the assumed safety of the benign looking backwoods abode…
