If it's a spring tide she could be in trouble, a neap tide not so much.
A booby trap no less.
I'm reminded of a situation many years ago when attempting to link two computers, an IBM and machine from another manufacture. The link kept breaking (see, computers haven't advanced that much in 50 years). Eventually we determined that the IBM port wasn't operating at the standard speed, on contacting IBM support and reporting this, we were informed "IBM does not adhere to standards, IBM is the standard". Luckily the other computer manufacturer was competent. I'll just follow the IBM approach, "the language is called English, any spelling other than that used in England is incorrect".
so how do you pronounce "schedule'?
with a "ska" sound like school, scholar?
or like it's "shed-ule" just ignoring the "c"?

Now that's the continuation I dreamed of! That spot seems to be really soft and nasty. The rescuer should better have brought some plank or stick. Now there is quite the risk she will sink, too.
Well, if that's Arnside (Morecombe Bay), the rescuer is as firmly stuck as the one she is trying to rescue. The stuff there is really nasty, the sand is derived from basalt and the grains are irregular and knobbly, if the water is expelled it sets like concrete as the grains of sand interlock. The only way out is very slowly keeping the sand liquid (as per Pippa's pic/video). Sitting down in that stuff doesn't help, you'd just end up sunk to the waist.

Well, as I'm English, I pronounce it correctly!
It's a three letter syllable, "sch", which is close to the "sh" sound but slightly softer.
Anyway, spelling has very little to do with punctuation, if it did "fish" would be spelt "ghoti"!

For hygiene reasons, I'd advise washing out the rainsuits, inside and outside!
