I managed to use my brothers laptop from distance via team view program like.

His laptop recognizes pip 23 install via command promo
P when I put Python install pip.

I used the command promp pip install packages and install torch2.1.2 and torch vision and torch audio.

I launched the Python launch file in his main folder to install torch packages.

But when I finally launch the web-user.bat it says no module pip, Python.exe install pip and can’t find torch.

Very strange while the command prompt says different.

Did I miss a step Cerberus?

Difficult to tell. It may be something is missing from PATH or the venv folder under stable-diffusion-webui isn't complete. Can you compare the contents of the venv folders (particularly the lib sub-folder) on your brother's laptop with the one on yours?

I think her left hand pigtail has become unravelled and that a bit of stray hair from that one. understandable given the thrashing about in the mud she's been doing. "not THAT deep" tsk, none of my places are THAT shallow, sometimes it just takes people a while to realise that!

I checked my venv-Lib-site packages and it's full with files packages.
I checked my brothers venv-Lib folder but the folder site packages is empty.

That's the normal rule best of three submissions or a knockout! That one may be a knockout!

The suggested (on the web) course of action here is to remove the venv folder and run webui-user.bat. This is supposed to recreate and reload the venv folder. I haven't tried this myself, so you may want to rename the folder rather that delete it, just in case you need it again. The activate.bat script would also be in the venv folder, so I'm guessing that isn't there as well.

I deleted his venv folder and double clicked on webuser.bat it created a new venv folder but it misses the “activate” file.
