I do not. Is that a problem here? I was going by fair use laws. The item does not compete with the original nor is for commercial or resale reasons. I do not intend to put it up on DeviantArt or anywhere else.

I have another that is my best work yet based on an image of two mired mermaids. Now I am not sure if I should present it here. Interesting situation as it was made on commission for someone else.

This is the base image I began with: https://www.deviantart.com/king-kakapo/ ... -856728226

This is the result:

Please let me know if the forum would like me to remove them. No plagiarism is intended. In fact I credit the author in the Mermaid video itself for providing the "seed" I grew it from. I just like seeing still images come to life as a new form of art. That's why I do costly video instead of affordable still images.

Providing proper credit for source material is where we're at as far as rules go.

I might add that QSF will promptly remove any derived content at the request of the originating creator.

However, it's probably in poor taste to repeatedly use exiting community art. Maybe mix it up a bit with some AI generated stills as a source.

Also, as it appears that some of the best AI generative output in the future may be enhanced versions of existing video, we may have to tweak the rules as things progress.

Sounds good. Credit given where credit due has always been the way.

"It is the way." :geek:

This one used a character I made myself with A.I.:

"Webbed Fairy" (no spiders, just webs). One get caught, struggles a bit then realizes she can't break free but the spider is gone so no immediate danger. She settles down and waits patiently for someone to pass by that she can ask for help. Could be awhile.

SCENARIO

A young adult fairy is entwined in a sticky slime-like web that she crashed into while flying down a dark and narrow cave. In the low light she could not see the near-transparent, almost colorless slime trap. Her arms are entangled over her head in silk threads and a sticky glue-like slime, leaving her helpless. Fortunately the creature that made it is nowhere in sight ....... at this time.

She fights and struggles with delicate wings fluttering to escape and eventually manages to free her entangled arms and break the threads that kept the inexperienced pixie suspended in the damp air, but her legs are still totally engulfed in a terrible mass of sticky, viscous slime and despite her desperate attempts she cannot work her legs free even a little from the sticky, glue like webbing. The gooey mass just flexes and stretches and absorbs all of her energy instead of breaking.

The perfect trap.

She eventually realizes that it is hopeless and that she is just mired too deep in clinging slime to get away and she stops struggling, resigning to her fate as her sea-blue eyes turn to a sad pink as fairy eyes do when they sense the end is near. Their bodies begin to produce chemicals that act like a drug to numb and calm them and eventually render them unconscious so they do not have to feel the experience of a horrible death like being eaten alive. It is this natural morphine-like drug fairies produce that causes the eye color-change as a side effect.

With nothing else she can do she awaits her fate and the effects of the natural chemicals in her body to take effect as she vainly looks around in desperate hope for someone or something to help her get free. Her vision starts to get fuzzy......

A new one that took many scenes and many coin from my pocket. C'mon, lottery! For this project I started with an image called "sticky_and_silky_bondage" by Imaginus91

Image link: https://www.deviantart.com/imaginus91/a ... 1227561800

I had to do some Photoshop work first to add delicate fairy wings to the subject first because I wanted to transform her to a fairy because I wished the victim to FLY into the sticky snare. I spent a lot of time trying to includes the wings with AI but the wings would never be aligned correctly or the insect wings would suddenly have feathers for some unknown reason, so I did it manually.

Dang! You had me already when she was just walking. Hehe

Lot's of variables at play of course. But the standouts for me was the wardrobe and the variations on attention to different parts of her body.

The eye contact pretty much capped everything off. Nice.

Thank you. I learned a lot about post-shoot editing making my game-based videos for my channel and just watching movies to learn such techniques.

Now I just need to win the lottery so I can keep this up.

This is where I go: https://www.seaart.ai/ The "SeaArt Film Video Pro" model gives me the best results by far but also cost the most points to use.

The process can be fascinating. For example to get the walking away shot took several renders just to get shots of her walking. Truly it was a surprise because I did not instruct the AI to do that. There is still a lot of randomness in the creations. I took advantage and added the shot to the video.

Here is the full clip before editing. First I had to use AI to put her intact clothes back on since the walk scenes come before her fall. The original base image I began with is on the right.

ai.mod.png

Then I used the new image on the left as my base and wrote a prompt for her to stand and start walking. A lot of results get tossed for one reason or another, like the leaf-less trees suddenly are green with leaves or the model makes odd moves right out of the blue. so I have to discard that render. Another had her suddenly do a face-plant in the water as soon as she stood up for who knows what reason. Sometimes I try and try but can't make the shot do what I want and have to discard everything I rendered. That happens too often unfortunately and make this more expensive to do. Much still to learn.

And here is the full unedited walk away clip before trimming the beginning and just using the walking part: https://i.imgur.com/0ZeyGf6.mp4

Fascinating hobby. Very addictive too I confess. Hope prices drop drastically someday as competition takes effect.

here's an example of suspending disbelief--- we don't see how her blouse got open... but for me, i Don't Care!
