How to access quicksand areas in Second Life?

I'm new to Second Life and I saw that there are some locations for sinking areas (for example, I heard of Quicksand Cove), but I can't access them. Are some areas exclusive or am I missing something? For example, when I try to go to a location it says the preferences are too high. My computer definitely isn't slow, I was just wondering if you have to set your preferences to something specific or join a group.

Sorry, I'm new to Second Life and is interested in the quicksand. Thanks!

I'm no user of Second Life, but it may be because it's experiencing issues of some kind. That's my guess at least.

quicksand cove isn't restricted you just need to make sure your profile can access adult content too and also your sl preference might be set to high for it no matter what your computer is

Under Preferences, General

"I want to access content rated:"
(then there is a drop down menu)

Most quicksand areas are rated "Adult" so make sure you have "General, Moderate, Adult" for the selection.

Any sim rated "Adult" and your preferences not set to allow Adult will not allow you to land there.
