looking for a 1980s tobacco commercial (moved from Nuggets)

i remember seeing a tobacco commercial in which a cowboy is walking through a swampy area and stumbles into quicksand. he calmly takes a pouch of tobacco & puts a pinch in his mouth, then uses a rope to lasso a tree branch or something to pull himself out. there was a very quick shot of an alligator in the commercial too. it could have been for redman tobacco, but i'm not certain of the brand. i saw it after 1984 and probably before 1990, and was living in memphis, tn at the time. i've been unable to find it on YT, but dont have time to go through the hundreds of videos of old tv commercials. does this sound familiar to anyone?
