This is my first post, as I have attended for a while but not said much... well if anything. I love reading and viewing what we have to say here, and I enjoy being a part of the Quicksand Fans forum. You guys (And gals) rock!
Just curious though - has anyone seen a four-part superheroine peril fan fiction story where superheroines meet a mud monster named "Claypit," are defeated by it, and become part of it? They used to have it on DeviantArt, but I forgot who posted it as the story and the writer are gone thanks to rampant censorship. Apparently, the story goes where a bunch of superheroines go down into an underground mine to search for a missing superheroine and they meet Claypit, who pulls some muddy hijinks and absorbs them into the mud. The superheroines are defeated by Claypit and literally become part of the mud.
Some clues to identify the story: Claypit refers to the superheroines as "piggies" and there is a scene where Claypit creates suction cups out of mud, which is really hot. This is part of the absorption process. My understanding is that one of the four parts has a title like "Into the Mine" or something like that, before they meet Claypit.
If anyone can refer me to where this story is, I would greatly appreciate! Thank you.
