Quicksand Fans

Found this offered on an Aurora modeling site - Cro-Magnon woman 3D printed figure in "lake" but can easily be painted up as quicksand. He mentioned the price would be about $35 and in 1/13 scale 5.5" but it's still in production for about 2 more months. Will be on Ebay eventually. You might know more about this since it's kind of your thing. Does anyone print with something flexible like silicone? Could somebody print their own doll of say one of the MPV ladies? Seeing this gives me an idea or three.

The current 3D prints are done in resin (or the older filament type plastic) since the resin liquid is immediately cured by UV light.
So this is what Google turned up & sounds like expensive specialized equipment is needed:

Rapid Liquid Print (RLP) (which extrudes liquid silicone into a supporting gel suspension), specific multi-material add-ons like the Original Prusa XL Silicone Toolhead, or dedicated elastomer resins on SLA printers (such as Formlabs Silicone 40A Resin). For conventional 3D printers, the common alternative is to print a mold and cast standard two-part silicone.

Interesting. This is one of those things I wish I had more time to tinker with and should probably be grateful I don't.
