I absolutely adore that woman. Pound for pound probably one of the most talented actresses to grace the screen. She’s literally a chameleon who can do it all, including, and not limited to a legendary quicksand scene. Sadly, that scene was so freaking short and brief, all we have is “what ifs”.

She was in an earlier scene, her first movie, where she gets attacked by some tentacle thing and gets her legs all bloody. I'm pretty well convinced she wasn't there for that final moment we've been looking for but I still keep looking every now and then. Never been able to find anything bts or otherwise about that little bit. Pretty sure some second unit director had a few extras that got messed up for a few dollars or something because there's so little there to work with. Still fun to think about.
