Re: Yet More Comic Book Sinking Scenes
In the all new X-Men #12. Jean Grey from the past snuck into current day Scarlet Witch's Head and discovered she almost ended all mutant life. Jean attacked her at which the Scarlet Witch turned the ground to quicksand leaving Jean trapped. sadly there are only 2 panels 1 where jean is waist deep and the second where the others are digging her out.

Re: Yet More Comic Book Sinking Scenes
Here's a color version of a black and white comic I posted more than a year ago... the color adds a certain snap to the proceedings, I think...
It's a male sinking, but I like the way this unfolds.... which is why I'm posting the whole story.

I remember the original post - not least because the original author of the comic knew his Kipling -
For they're hanging Danny Deever - you can hear the Dead March play,
The Regiment's in hollow square - they're hanging him today;
They've taken of his buttons off and cut his stripes away,
And they're hanging Danny Deever in the morning.
In order to make an apple pie from scratch you first have to create the universe.

Re: Yet More Comic Book Sinking Scenes
my brother had that Sgt. Rock comic...sadly, there was no quicksand in the comic...just soldiers falling through the desert sand and into a room...I was so pissed.
