Nice! I always thought something like that was a missed opportunity in the TV series, since the characters can manipulate elements such as earth and water. It's nice to see that someone realised the potential of combining them.

Here's a cool Tarzan strip, again from the 1950s.
I've found larger versions of this, so here it is...
I just love the descriptions near the end of the sequence...

To go along with Tarzan on the previous page, here's Nyoka on another sinking adventure. A repost from a couple years ago, but figured no one would object to repeats. I just can't get enough of watching her sink...

Very hot! I bet the comic censors would have had a bad time with this one. Thanks!!

Haha, she didn't really need the rope. She could've just used the hard surface behind her to climb out. But really nice sequence :3

Re: Yet More Comic Book Sinking Scenes
Hi. I've been browsing through some old scanned horror comics and came up with a few QS scenes. So far they are all male, so they may have been posted before - they're not as memorable as fair ladies.
Hope some more will turn up.

No objection here. These panels never get old. I wonder how many times Nyoka's $#!%&y luck has lead her into quicksand during her adventures... I'm convinced she looks for it.
