Story writers failed this film on so many levels. I mean, the actors were capable. The budget was about right. The location and lighting was on point. Just piss poor direction and writing. Quicksand didn’t even have to play out as long as it did to maintain the overall theme of the movie. The Marsh was about a million times better for their scenes I feel because they didn’t lean on it for 50% of the movie
