and it seems to have been retroactively applied to all my posts, how cool is that?

Posting of attachments in the Technical forum is not currently allowed. It was decided at some point that users would never need to post tech-related pictures here. Try placing it in one of the content forums.

Hmm. I looked at this last night and can't figure out why they're not allowed (I thought they were in the first place).
