Refreshing to see the mud or quicksand reacting to the victim instead of looking like they are just passing through a flat plane surface with no actual contact, as is typical for most digitally rendered sinks. Kudos!

Thank you for the kind words!!
I did both the rendering and fluid sim in Blender, using the FLIP Fluids addon and the Eevee renderer.
