Hello all!
This here is where I'm going to post my doll sinking stories and pictures. I thought of posting in the 'pictures' section, but found it was all pictures of actual people people in there, which this surely is not (and don't call me Shirley!). So this is where I will 'manipulate' some dolls.
My original thread was posted in Nessie's forum of all places as a response to some of her doll sinking threads. Though ill-considered by me placing it there, she welcomed it greatly. But for now this will be it's home.
My original thread which includes an earlier sink along with a little more about me, what I do and why I do it, is linked here.

Enjoy.
Anyway,
I have a surprise for you all today!
You're all going to get a first sink by this first doll that I just got cheap off of ebay! All the others have been sunk plenty of times and always come out great. I have to admit though, with this one being more of a collectors item, it seems a little more delicate-- so I guess we'll find out together.
Enjoy classic Cinderella with a twist:
----------------------------------------------------------
We're going to skip most of the story until near the end. Cinderella is leaving the ball and trying to track down Prince Charming. She though she saw him behind the castle at the edge of the forest, where we find her now.
(once again, without proper sets, you'll have to use your imagination.)
We're getting into a pretty sticky situation methinks.
I'll post this as a couple posts.

At this point Cindy's taking on some buoyancy in the slurry I've created for her.

Is that the end for Cinderella? No fairytale ending for her?

No! That's not the end! Cinderella in the future heard about her evil stepmother's treachery and saw that she went back in time during their wedding reception to prevent her from meeting up with Prince Charming! But little did the evil stepmother know, Cinderella, now in her wedding dress (sorry about the doll repeat-- but I just love this one!) followed her back in time to rescue herself!
(bet no one saw THAT coming!")

But the evil stepmother finds them to finish off the job. She's none other than Princess Bride Barbie, who always had it in for the Disney Princesses and wanted Prince Charming for her own! (Lets face it- we all know Ken is gay!) She's ready to leap forward in time and marry the Prince!
Cinderella makes it past Barbie as Future Wedding Cinderella grabs her dress and pulls her in with her.

Re: Fox's Doll Sinking
But the evil stepmother was to strong and evil and began to take Future Cinderella with her...
And so Future Wedding Cinderella did die in the muck-- but it didn't matter because Present Cinderella lived to meet Prince Charming and marry him (apparently he's a quicksander too!). Cinderella got a new wedding dress which I'm sure I will sink later. Blah, blah, blah, the end.
Let's have a roll call of our cast of characters!
We'll see you the new Cinderella's dress cleans up tonight in the big cleaning.
So that's that.
Hope you enjoy.
I'm not sure how many more of these I'll do.
I've been zeroing on some more dolls on ebay.
Later all

Re: Fox's Doll Sinking
I just love that new dress.
You haven't posted ANY dresses yet that I don't want to sink in. You now have me all ready to go out and try to buy something and figure out how to sink in it (my own self, not my dolls).
It's not just getting the dress into the bog, though -- after it's loaded with mud it's very heavy! No Prince Charming to do the heavy lifting either.
It's a toss-up -- can't decide which dress I like better. That new Cinderella dress is awesome but the translucent fabric on Princess Bride Barbie is mighty nice in the mud too.
It didn't escape me that this is right by the washing machine. I guess it makes less mess in the house that way.
Nice work. I hope the dress washes out so you get to enjoy this again.

Re: Fox's Doll Sinking
Another new one off of ebay cheap. I've always wanted to sink this one. I wasn't too impressed with the quality of the doll, but it turned out all right.
No fancy melodramatic story this time, just a first sink. I wish I could get better pictures-- I have to practice that. I have a few more new ones coming off ebay which should be here in a week or more and I'll have a story to go with them. But for now , enjoy...
Once again, you'll have to use your imaginations.
