So a funny thing happened the other day...

I was doing mu laundry and I heard funny noises coming form my sump pump of all things. I guess some of the the mud I put down my utility sink clogged it up and it blew. It wasn't too bad. No mess, and I knew i needed a new pump soon anyway (I just moved into this house last October). I now have a much better understanding of my house' plumbing and that won't happen again. Live and learn.

That said though, I might not have any new sinks after this one for a while (though I do have one last doll coming in via ebay soon and she's a real cutie-pie! I'll probably sneak her in). I've been neglecting some other things as well that need to be attended to. I'm still trying to get a book published and have some more publishers to schmooze and editing to do (and yes there is a quicksand scene of a young woman in a ballgown. I mean, come on, why wouldn't I?).

So this will probably be the last sink for a while. I know what you're all thinking-- didn't I see this a while back? Well yes and no. While I have sunk Giselle from Disney's "Enchanted" in her wedding dress before, it was kind of an old doll and really didn't look that great. This is a brand spankin' new on from ebay dirt cheap and right out of the packaging. Boy is she spectacular when brand new. I couldn't resist.

Update time!

Well I've had new pictures for a while but just haven't had time to post them!

(Too much work and Battlefield 3!)

So anyway I've found a new system of doing this in my garage that will be much better. Bad news is I've just about shut down all operations with the coming Chicago winter. No hose and too cold!! The next couple months will suck.

But here's some new dolls for you and just some sneak previews. If any full sinking sequences are wanted, just let me know and I'll post them (though I'll have to rearrange some other pics for space restrictions. Also, anything that I've posted and deleted that anyone needs a copy of, let me know. I know I'm getting a few hits a day of this, which is always flattering.)

These are the last of the old dolls I'll be getting for a while. No other ones interest me for the moment and all the new ones kind of suck for now.

So here's a sneak preview of the last 4 or so. All rock-bottom prices off of ebay of course! Next year I'll be a little more ambitious as far as sets and stories. I have a few in mind now, but as I said before, this year's sinking season has pretty much drawn to a close barring a heat wave (which in Chicago, you never know!).

It's uncanny how such small, inanimate objects can come to life and turn me on!
