Re: Fox's Doll Sinking
Now is when I'm starting to get some massive whiteout. I wish I could shoot these perfectly like Duncan Edwards.

So not too bad. As soon as some of these people send me these new dolls I'll have some more and better sinkings. Take care y'all!

Re: Fox's Doll Sinking
Update time!
I've been waiting for these two great dolls to come in from ebay- classics I've always wanted to sink! I got great prices on them! One of them came fast and I've been waiting to sink her. The other however-- the person first said they were on vacation and couldn't send it for a few days. Nice. Then they're saying that they screwed up the postage and instead of paying $2.00 for shipping, i'd have to pay $39.00! Give me a break! I think they just realized a got a great price and now they're dicking me over so they can sell it for a better price. Whatever. Guess it'll be a while before I get that one for a good price again.
ANYway...
I've got another long story with a lot of dolls, the first of which is brand new for her first sink. Then I have some classics in there. I just like sinking them and this way we can just about close out the thread I put in Nessie's section.
So enjoy my newest doll and sink (and one of my weirder stories. It's harder than I thought writing these!)
------------------------------------
At the Bar-b-que
A favorite doll of mine, Scarlett O'Hara is leaving the bar-b-que and gets a note to meet Rhett in the back by the forest.
As always, use your imaginations for the background.
So, what do you think is going to happen?

Will she be rescued?
It doesn't look good.
I have more, but I have to manage my attachments.

Sweet! Nice job on these...
I used to something similar about a decade ago, using a coffee can, corn syrup and potting soil. It worked well with smaller dolls, as long as I weighted the feet down... she would sink under slowly without me needing to assist her...

Thanks.
I've been kind of a lurker for years now until recently and I must say, I've enjoyed your work for years!

Awesome gowns and gorgeous dolls! And the mud ain't bad either!
I've never seen Rose Barbie before. She is gorgeous and she sank beautifully! As for Scarlett, now that movie I know well and I have always loved that dress -- that would be an awesome sinking gown! I've often been tempted to get that doll myself but she is not cheap!
Psst, there are three Scarlett dolls out there...one in green velvet and one in gaudy red. But if you had to get only one to sink, you did get the best. In the movie, this one had just a humongous skirt!

That's what ebay is for!!
I've got more pictures from that last sink plus two more GREAT dolls coming in the mail this week. One is an uber collector that I got for a STEAL. After this though there's really no more off ebay I'm getting that interest me.
I'm also out of upload space, so I have to manage that better. Any chance I can have you delete my thread in your section (that I should have never put there in the first place)? I think I've reused the dolls in that thread for sinks anyway. I then have to make smaller pictures! One of these days I'll get the hang of technology!

I bet Rhett would give a damn if he saw Scarlett in this predicament!
