And here's the epilogue; officially completing the project.
As usual, it's shorter than the other parts.
----------------------------------------------------
The trip took hours, but the shores to the closest beach: The Slime Beach, came into view. The boat pulled into the dock smoothly without incident. Morwenna was the first to get off it, eager to touch Olympian ground once again. Palutena & I followed her, as Amethyst & Ajax followed suit. "So let me get this straight," Amethyst starts. "You touched a relic I had finished despite it not being properly attuned, and that sent you to the island." He then says.
Ajax just nodded. "I thought it was harmless." He said. "Well, from now on, you come ask me about stuff like that. All right?" Amethyst asks Ajax. Ajax just nodded. Amethyst smiled. "Good. Glad we're on the same page." He then looks to Morwenna. "Now, I believe I owe you a present." Amethyst says. Morwenna looks to Amethyst. "Yeah, but it's no big deal, really." Morwenna says. "Just doing my job as a protector." Amethyst chuckled in acknowledgement.
"True, but I insist, really." He said. Morwenna nodded, then unveiled a Handaxe she had on hand, that looked ready to break at a moment's notice. Yet Amethyst used some light magic on it, which not only repairs Morwenna's axe, but also transforms it. It went from being a mere handaxe to a rather angelic looking tomahawk. "Oh wow, just the think to compliment my axe Sariel!" Morwenna exclaims. "Thanks!" She then says. Amethyst nodded, smiling still.
"How you use that axe is up to you, but I do hope you use it to keep on fighting those who are evil." Amrthyst says. "Don't worry about that." Morwenna says. "With Uriel at my side, monsters of darkness will be falling from a distance." She adds, before going onto tell Amethyst "That's what I'm calling my new Tomahawk here..." "I figured." Amethyst giggled. "Well, I hope you enjoy it." He then says as he prepares to warp himself & Ajax back to Palus.
"You're leaving so soon?" I ask. "Yes sadly..." Amethyst says. "Garnet needs to know Ajax is alive & well." He adds. "I don't blame you." Palutena says soon after. Amethyst just nodded. "Wait, before you go..." Morwenna says. She then ran up to Ajax, hugged him, and kissed him on the lips. Taken aback at first, Ajax returned Morwenna's hug & kiss soon after. And it proved to be a long one indeed. Though the two were forced to let go after a while.
"You better come back & see me sometime." Morwenna tells Ajax. "Because I'll be waiting." Ajax nodded. "I'll certainly try." He said, rubbing the back of his head. "Well, I guess this is goodbye for now." Amethyst said. He & Ajax waved to us, and warped back home successfully. Once he was back home, Ajax decided to just lay down & rest in his tent. He knew in the back of his head he would have to speak with his mother Garnet later on.
But, that was liable to wait, as he was just glad to be back home safe & sound, just as his father Amethyst was. Morwenna meanwhile, relaxed in a mud pool that was of her own home's soft, thick, viscous mud. This was a welcome relief for her. Yet, she had the idea of going back to Isla Barrar someday to try out its clay once more, but this time with more open readiness. But for now though... She was just glad to be back in her home where she belongs.
And to her right now, while she did indeed have a rather fun date with Ajax despite the dangers she & him went through, there really was no place like home...
