The lots have been drawn, and the order of who would cross Marais' bog has been decided. Masika, Neried, Muiel, Calder, and Charybdis all have the same exact goal in mind: To cross the bog and get a wish granted from Marais herself. Though really, they had the same exact wish, hence why the ordering of how this would go. As a result, at least 4 of the 5 sisters would have to get across successfully to get their wish, and that will be anything but easy.

Masika steps up to the bog, dropping just about anything & everything that could weigh her down. She was not intent on becoming part of Marais' bog right away. No. "Masika Socrates," Said Marais. "I sense that you are strong & agile, but will your agility see you through my peanut butter thick bog~?" She then asks with a smirk. "Just wait until I change into my cat form." Masika said, smirking back at Marais. "Oh ho, that I'd like to see." Marais said.

"However, I bet being a big pussy cat will make things harder." She adds. Masika scoffed. "I'll show you!" She exclaimed. "Get ready, Marais, because I'm going to make you eat your words!" Marais stepped back, watching as Masika took her first steps into Marais's bog. Masika at that point splayed her arms out and started moving forward, keeping her balance in tip top shape; as she was seriously going to need it. And already for Masika, So far so good.

Moving slowly, Masika did not sink down quick, probably about a millimeter or so. Masika did of course, glance at the landscape around her as she crossed the bog, noting how lovely the jungle was. She did however, focus more on her task at hand. "Don't stop whatever you do!" Calder calls out to Masika. "Damn it, sis! I got it under control!" Masika shoots back. A quarter of the way across, and Masika has sunk to her knees in the thick quicksand.

Though Masika's movements became slightly more restricted, she did not stop. Nevertheless, Masika was tempted to just take her cat form altogether and cross as that, but she chose to not transform into that right now. She wanted to save it until she was at the end. Nevertheless, Marais could sense the intention of saving that ability for later. Needless to say however, that Masika was actually doing extremely well in crossing the bog already.

As a matter of fact, Masika was only a quarter of the way past her thighs by the time she made it to the halfway point. Marais was impressed herself, but as Masika just kept moving forward, Marais kept an eye on the Feral Druidess, noting that the thickness of the quicksand would eventually have its way with Masika. And sure as hell she was just about proven right. Masika kept on going forward with her legs, until she touched butt deep a small moment later.

"Damn it," Masika cursed. "So much for slogging..." Marais smirked. "Surely you're not giving up easily~." She asks. "I most certainly am not!" Masika says, reaching forward with her arms. "I've not yet begun to fight after all!" She proclaims. Masika now pinned her hopes that clawing would pull her forward. And sure enough, her hopes were granted. With enough force, Masika managed to pull herself forward through the bog a good distance, without sinking down.

Despite this however, Masika still sank. But, thankfully it remained nice & slow. Masika looked back at the start of the bog. She was a long way from it, and she knew that turning back was not an option; not that she was intent on turning back anyway. Masika just kept clawing forward, even as her butt disappeared below the surface of the bog itself. Slowly but surely, more of her slipped deeper & deeper into the bog, and Masika started to pant; albeit slowly.

Masika of course, did stop to catch her breath when possible, which helped in her effort to see herself on Marais's side of the bog. Nonetheless, Masika kept on going forward, still clawing at the bog to pull herself forward. Marais kept her eyes on Masika as she kept going forward in the bog. But, at long last, Masika had reached the other side, yet she was now at her breasts in the mire. "Well, you've made it this far." Marais said, smirking down at Masika.

"However, you sure expended a lot of energy with that method." Masika glanced up at Marais. "I'm not done yet, ya know." She said, before finally assuming her cat form; which boosted her strength, and stamina. Masika thrust her paws forward onto more solid ground, but struggled with the bog as it held her fast still. But, Masika worked slowly against the bog's mud, wiggling a little bit to loosen its grip on her body. This however, wasn't exactly easy still.

But, in the end, Masika, using the strength of her cat form's hind legs, managed to slip out of the bog with ease; much to Marais's surprise. Masika returned to her human form soon after, sighing. Marais then smiled at Masika. "Oh my, I underestimated you there." She said. "Told you I was going to make it." Said Masika. "You certainly did," Said Marais. "But the game is not over. For three more of your sisters need to make it across still." She adds.

Masika had scored a win for her sisters. Having made it across safely, she knew that indeed, at least 3 more of her sisters had to cross the bog to get their wish. Will they succeed? Or have the 1/2 Mermaid Druidesses bitten more than they can chew in this challenge?
