The Epilogue to Mermaids in Palus

And with that, this 7-Parter has concluded.

Oh, and also: Reference to Pelos II; another of Sabbie's creations.

Sidestory hint? Who knows~?
-------------------------------------
The sun rose across the Northern Wastelands. Aquarius & Fontanne gaze at it as it came up over the horizon. Their things packed, Aquarius & Fontanne stood at a good spot to open a portal back to their homeworld, but they did not go unnoticed. Garnet approached them. "So you are leaving us then?" She asked. Aquarius & Fontanne looked to Garnet, and nodded in response. "I'm afraid so." Fontanne answered. Aquarius sighed soon afterward.

"I'm sorry we couldn't stay longer..." She says. "Don't be sorry." Garnet said, smiling some. "You two will always be welcome to visit." She adds. Aquarius smiled at this. "Thank you, Garnet." She says. Aquarius & Garnet then shook hands once again. "Hey! Hold on!" Shouted a voice. Garnet turned to see who it was, and saw her husband, and her son & daughter. "Ah, the whole family's here." Fontanne says, smiling at the sight of the three.

Amethyst, Ajax, and Lea caught up to the pair just in time. "Did you think we'd let you two depart without giving us a goodbye, too?" Amethyst asked, smirking some. "We wouldn't think of it!" Aquarius giggled, and proceeding to hug Amethyst, and giving his butt a pat or two; making Amethyst blush & look flustered. Garnet chuckled with amusement. "Quite the price to pay. Eh, babe~?" She asked. Amethyst just answered with a smirk, and a shrug, all silent.

Nevertheless, Fontanne hugged him as well, before the sisters give one each to Ajax & Lea as well. "Thanks for stopping by to see us!" Exclaimed Lea. "It was good to see ya." Ajax says. "You, too!" Aquarius exclaimed. The farewells said, Aquarius proceeded to use her portal pendant to open a new portal, which showed the front yard of the 1/2 Mermaid household. "Goodbye, everyone! See you again soon!" Aquarius & Fontanne said to Garnet's family.

And Garnet & her family all smiled & waved goodbye to the 1/2 Mermaid sisters as they travel through the portal, and it closes behind them both. The portal opens at the front porch of their house, and out Aquarius & Fontanne step. The two of them go inside soon after, where I was waiting to greet them. "Welcome back!" I say to them. "Hi, father!" Aquarius said, just as she & Fontanne hug me, and I return their hug immediately after, before letting them go.

"How was Palus?" I ask them. "Oh, it wasn't bad at all." Fontanne said. "Except for this marsh called the Merelands..." Aquarius says. "I don't want to go back there again..." "Sounds like you had it rough there..." I say, hand on my chin. However, I opted not to press the issue. "While you were away, I took a trip to a planet called Pelos II." I say. "Pelos II?" Fontanne asks. "Yeah, it's a planet that's entirely clay." I reveal, blushing as I do so. Fontanne giggles.

"Father, you never say no to clay, do you?" She asks. "Nope." I simply say. "That said, I managed to bring some of its clay back. Why don't you try it out?" I proceed to offer. But Aquarius & Fontanne give their answer by making a beeline to the spa, and once there, they strip to their bikinis once again, and were quick to identify which clay was from the planet. And they immediately climb into it without a second thought, sinking to their breasts immediately.

They both shudder & coo with delight, liking how the clay felt on their skin. "Oh, it's so good...~" Aquarius cooed. "A perfect temperature..." Fontanne sighed. "Nice, isn't it?" I ask them, walking into see them enjoy the clay pool. "Very..." Aquarius & Fontanne say. "Maybe sometime, I can take you to the actual planet." I offer. The sister quickly accept the offer by nodding. But, that in itself is a trip that will have to wait. These two deserved to rest at home.

As I sit down by the pool's edge, and slink my legs into the white clay; watching Aquarius & Fontanne enjoy the thick white clay, I knew it was easy to tell that despite their unexpectedly long travel, they nonetheless had fun all the same. But one thing was for sure: They were just glad to be home, yet this would not be the last time they go on a such gooey journey. Not by a long stretch.

Aquarius, Fontanne, Myself: Me

Garnet, Amethyst, Ajax, Lea: Sabbie
