It's 3 days early, but here's a contribution to the upcoming Quicksand Day.

I'm planning to do one more. So watch for that, yeah?

Yasu & Wilfreda get along wonderfully, despite them having two different fighting styles. On one hand, Yasu fights with the heart of an Oni Savage, a fighter of Hoshido. On the other hand, Wilfreda is more high tech, but she is a technosage, meaning magic & technology are her arsenal. She even has a really fancy swordstaff that can become anything she wants if the situation calls for it. But the one thing they've in common? They're both absolute mudlarks.

If there's one thing they love as much as their family, they love quicksand just as much, never being afraid to throw themselves into it as soon as some is discovered, and it never really matters how deep it is. If they can sink in it, they will certainly do so. And they always find the best days to go out for a sink, and today was no exception. Though for this sinking expedition, they've agreed on going to the grand daddy of Olympian Jungles: The Quicksand Jungle.

The jungle is so aptly named because while trees exist, there is not a spec of solid earth around the jungle floor. As the name implies, it is nothing but quicksand. Its depths always varies with different spots. Commonly, one would stop at butt deep. In some spots, one would stop at breast deep, and in the darkest spots, the jungle will swallow the traveler whole easily. Needless to say that the quicksand is really thick, so traveling here is anything but easy.

However, this does not stop Yasu & Wilfreda from making this their destination for their sink. Wilfreda, had a rather extraordinary idea that seemed very much out of the ordinary. As Yasu was pondering on what to wear to the Quicksand Jungle, a knock on her bedroom door alerts the Oni Savage, and she glanced over to see Wilfreda, clad in playboy bunny attire. "W-Wilfreda?!" Yasu asks in shock. "Why in the hell are you wearing that outfit?!"

"Going as an explorer, or even as a common jungle girl is too common." Wilfreda answered. "So I'm going to the jungle as a hot & sexy bunny girl." She then says, strutting her stuff for a moment or two. "But we agreed on going as either one of those." Yasu said. But, then she noticed something about Wifreda's outfit. "Wait... Is that a jungle pattern on your leotard?" She then asks. "Yes, it is." Wilfreda says with a confirmation nod. Yasu smiled lightly.

"Ah, I see." Said Yasu. "Well, I approve. Let me join you in that endeavor." So Yasu was quick to drop the initial outfit she had on earlier, and in her closet, takes out a bunny suit similar to the one Wilfreda had on. Though hers was decorated with a Jaguar print, in contrast to the leopard print Wilfreda's outfit sported. "What color ears are you wearing?" Yasu asks Wilfreda. "Mine are yellow." She answers. Yasu nodded to this in response.

Then, she pulled out a pair of brown bunny ears, before proceeding to put her suit on once prompted. "Let's go!" Yasu exclaimed, to Wilfreda's delight as she leads her sister out of the room, and ultimately out of the house. Wilfreda & Yasu know a very nice route from their house to the intended jungle, and fortunately, it cuts the arrival time to said jungle down nicely. What typically take an hour long hike, was reduced to a 30 minute hike, saving time.

The best indication that they've arrived at their destination is when the ground beneath their feet starts to soften up, the solid ground starting to give way to quicksand. Yasu giggled at this, as did Wilfreda. Slowly, they walked into the jungle itself, braving its big, expansive, all-quicksand floor. No one really knows how the Quicksand Jungle came to be as it is. Heavy rains, earthquakes, and even magic, have all been suggested, but rain was voted most likely.

Yasu & Wilfreda however, barely cared about the origins. If it's quicksand, they'll travel through it. No questions asked. And these two knew the jungle floor well. The lighter areas can be traversed easily, but they suck travelers down to their butts. A darker spot is always chest deep; staying true to science in a way. Yet the darkest areas pull those in them under. In addition, there are also holes of quicksand that swallow victims whole regardless of color.

However, they've also been recorded in the Quicksand Wasteland, and the Quicksand Swamp. No one knows how these holes come into being, but Yasu & Wilfreda care not about their origins, because if they can sink in it, they certainly will. Nevertheless, the two just kept slogging through the quicksand floor. There were many spots for them to hop into, but these two were more interested in sinking into a quicksand hole rather than a normal spot.

And one such hole was the intended target for Wilfreda & Yasu's big sink. Though at least one of them, or even both of them, would be at risk of sinking into the wall of that quicksand hole. But they were willing to take it without hesitation. Slogging through the quicksand floor, Yasu & Wilfreda soon spot a quicksand hole, waiting to be entered. Immediately, the girls make a beeline for it, eager to get a good sink within it.

Yet Yasu noticed that this hole was multicolored, but it didn't change the fact that it was very deep. Deep enough to swallow her & Wilfreda whole. "So who jumps into the hole first?" Wilfreda asks. "I can jump in." Yasu answers. "What? You don't want that gooey wall pouring onto you?" Wilfreda asks with puzzlement. "Nah, not this time." Yasu answers, before taking a leap of faith from her spot, and landing in the heart of the quicksand hole perfectly.

Yasu quickly sank to her thighs, and Wilfreda magically rose herself before moving forward herself, sitting on the edge of the hole, and began to slowly slide downward into the hole herself, but she was in very close proximity to the wall of quicksand, and not only that, but she was touching it as well. Nonetheless, Yasu sank down slowly, without any pause. Yet Wilfreda tried to slow her own descent down even more as she pressed up on the wall's edge.

But, the edge was too soft for that to be possible, and Wilfreda's arms slid down into the quicksand quickly, getting her hands stuck in no time at all, even as she too sank to her thighs in the quicksand right away. Yet Wilfreda didn't seem to mind this one bit. In fact, she hoped that this would happen. And now that it has, she was very much delighted about it. Yasu watched as Wilfreda was going downward, and vice versa with Wilfreda watching Yasu.

And already, both girls sank past their thighs, reaching butt deep. Though Yasu went as far as to lean forward, and stick her hands in the thick quicksand, wanting to sink on all 4s. "Going all the 4s route, hmm?" Wilfreda asks Yasu. "It's fun..." Admitted Yasu. "You though... You better hope those bunny ears don't get pushed off your head before you vanish." She then says. "That won't be an issue now, will it?" Wilfreda chuckles as she & Yasu slide deeper.

Before long, Wilfreda could feel the gooey wall begin to close around her, even as she sank deeper still. Especially considering when the quicksand started pushing against the good sweet spot on both Yasu & Wilfreda. "Good gods..." Yasu moaned. "Why does it have to feel so good... in the middle... of our legs...?" She then asked while moaning out. "Even I don't have the... best answer..." Wilfreda moaned out as she sinks not only down, but backward.

As more of the wall oozed around Wilfreda, she was then pushed down to her breasts, and Yasu soon reached that depth herself, her plump butt just about ready to disappear at a moment's notice. But, Yasu noted that Wilfreda would slip under before she herself did, but she in no way minded this one little bit as both came here for that exact thing: To have a good sink in quicksand, and at this stage, there was no turning back until they were under its gooey surface.

Even so, the quicksand did try to push Wilfreda's bunny ears off her head, but the ears remained in place. Wilfreda had them secured well for this moment. Nevertheless, this didn't stop the quicksand wall from continuing to ooze down on Wilfreda, pushing her down more. Yasu also had little stop time as she sank down the way she was still. Wilfreda in particular, was already at her face in the quicksand. Yasu was at her shoulders in it at this exact point now.

"It's so heavy today..." Wilfreda moans out. "On you at least..." Yasu quips. But it's clear Wilfreda liked her situation, even as Yasu sank past her shoulders, reaching her chin. Wilfreda could only giggle as the quicksand rolled over her face leaving naught but a single eye on the surface of the quicksand. But it doesn't last for very long as the quicksand rolls over Wilfreda's eye, closing up with a nice gloop. Her bunny ears however, were officially last.

Yasu herself was left alone at this time, but she didn't remain this way for long as the quicksand wasted no time finishing her off slowly as well, ultimately slipping under herself. The quicksand at that point smoothed out on the surface, leaving no indication of where Wilfreda & Yasu had sunk. However, Wilfreda & Yasu assumed mermaid form once they were 3m deep, and swam to the surface, but they simply did not just pop back up from below the quicksand.

Like dolphins in the sea, they breached from the deep quicksand, getting in a strong enough leap to put them back into the shallower part of the quicksand. Only then do they resume their human forms. "Whew! I hadn't done that in a long time..." Wilfreda admits. "You're not the only one..." Yasu says. Regardless, Wilfreda uses a teleportation spell to teleport herself, and Yasu back to their house, an right into the master bathroom.

Stripping out of their mud caked outfits, they throw them into the dumbwaiter that goes to a laundry room before hopping into an awaiting hot tub that exemplifies the cleansing & restorative properties of a hot-spring. Although they enjoyed the experience in the quicksand jungle, in the end, it was nice to be able to relax in a hot tub & bathe to recharge those energy tanks. Because for all anyone knows... They'll be going back for more in the future.

Amazing story. I would love to see them go back and get into some peril though. Maybe some super sticky quicksand that prevents them from escaping

This was an amazing story! I would love to see them go back and actually get into some peril. Maybe a new type of super sticky mud that prevents them from sinking under (though they still get really deep) and also prevents them from escaping. And they struggle for a while to try and escape.

Thank you. Unfortunately, peril just isn't my go-to these days. So, sorry.
